My RF 24-105 f4 is excellent. No issues. I remember in years past there would often be posts about copy variation with lenses. But today I don't hear about it much. Maybe lens manufacturing has better quality control today. In recent years I have bought the EF 100-400, RF 24-105 f4, RF 100-500, RF 35 f1.4, and they all were excellent.
Re: RF 24-105 vs FE 24-105. I am interested in this topic. OpticalLimits.com is the only web site that provides measures on both lenses, it said Canon is better, sharper at the 24mm corners at F/4. And at 105mm center, Canon is sharper. I have the Sony version, 24mm corners are good at F/5.6. 105mm center is sharp with 42mp camera, but not sure

None of them is a clear winner from the objective point of view. And either of them can be a clear winner based on what is important for its owner.
Product description. The EOS R5 C is a video-orientated variant of Canon's EOS R5. Part of the Cinema EOS range, it shoots 8K at up to 60p in Canon's Cinema Raw Light format, with 10-bit 422 options in the XF-AVC format. The main distinguishing feature is an active cooling system on the back of the camera, allowing unlimited recording times.
I have an old Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home bag and it's perfect for this pourpose. I fit my R6 with RF 24-105 f4L attached and I have room for my RF 50 1.8 and RF 16 2.8. FIts perfect and small. They don't make these any more but of you can find a bag with similar/same dimensions, you should be all set. Dimensions are: 10.6 x 8.5 x 4.6"
Hey, shooting landscapes , what would be the sharpest Fstop for the 24-105 and also for the 24-70 2.8. For the 24-70; I shoot landscapes at F/5.6-F/8 unless there is too much sunlight that shutter speed creates its own diffraction pattern.
If you have the EF 24-105 II and are potentially interested in an RF 24-70F2.8, I would suggest just using the EF on the R for a while. Improvement in IQ by moving to the RF is there, but I think you will find that it is more incremental than game-changing; functionally, EF lenses work perfectly on the R, especially if you invest in the control ring adapter.
